Inside

We have really been enjoying the nesting process since we've moved in. This is the first time we've been able to paint the walls in our home! I was torn between a lot of colors but after living in the house a bit and looking around at our things (with a little advice from my mother :) ) , we decided to go with a warm spice theme.
The kitchen is a deep chocolate (please don't tell me that it's purple! it's not!).

And the living rooms are pumpkin butter.

The rest of the house will be variations on that theme. We've picked out a green for the entry way and hallway but we'll wait awhile before we dive into that project. Now we're dreaming about drapes and things to warm up the walls. I'm thinking about making some sort of tapestry wall hanging but I'm looking for a quote to put on it. Any suggestions?
God has been so good to us in this home. I still feel overwhelmed when we pull up the driveway. We have our own home!!!
"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." James 1:17

Beautiful home. I like the "R" in your kitchen. I have pumpkin butter on my bedroom walls. I thought I would be the only one that likes that color. :o)
